Motherland

1992. Independent Azerbaijan is fighting against separatists in Karabakh. Journalist Miranda arrives in Azerbaijan from London to film a documentary about the Caucasian leopard. Fate brings her together with intelligence officer Emil. Together, they go through difficult trials, during which Miranda learns a lot about the Caucasian leopard and the tragic chapters of Azerbaijan's modern history.
